DAVIDE RESTIFO

Davide Restifo is a London based self-taught artist, born out of a true passion and perfecting his craft for the past 10 years. His work focusses on our current climate and environmental crisis, while also exploring the notion that this in itself is a contradiction. Our efforts strive to protect a planet which has become man-made; the animals we protect have been bred in a way that suits humankind; the icebergs which provide a natural habitat for so many creatures, yet boats are sent out to break up and collect the ice to create luxury bottled water. This does not change the fact that this world needs fierce protection and Restifo’s work is primarily focussed on bringing this to our attention with often playfully painted works, each with a darker depth.
